Abstract

Lembaga Pemasyarakatan seringkali mendapat stigma buruk di masyarakat, sedangkan di sisi lain para warga binaan membutuhkan pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka setelah keluar dari lembaga tersebut. Salah satunya Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA di kota Malang. Lembaga ini khusus menampung warga binaan perempuan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan ketrampilan wirausaha warga binaan melalui pelatihan teknik sablon rubber. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode partisipatif melalui model pelatihan berbasis praktik yang dilakukan selama satu hari. Metode ini mengacu pada kerangka Participatory Action Research (PAR). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta mampu memahami teknik dasar sablon, mengikuti seluruh sesi pelatihan secara aktif, serta menunjukkan minat untuk mengembangkan keterampilan ini sebagai bekal usaha setelah bebas.
