Analisis sebaran fisis batuan berbasis sistem informasi geografis (SIG) di pantai pasir panjang Kota Singkawang

Penilaian geodiversitas hadir sebagai salah satu konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan yang diakui UNESCO karena menghargai jasa ekosistem beserta nilai kebudayaan di dalamnya. Kota Singkawang memiliki geodiversitas yang kompleks dari wilayah hulu hingga pesisir, menjadikannya pusat wisata sekaligus kawasan potensial untuk pengembangan wisata geosains. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi sebaran batuan di Pantai Pasir Panjang sebagai dasar ilmiah dalam mendukung strategi pengelolaan geodiversitas. Metode penelitian bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis laboratorium dan GIS. Uji laboratorium dilakukan terhadap sifat fisis batuan, mencakup tekstur, warna, medan magnet, radioaktivitas, penurunan suhu, dan massa jenis. Pemetaan spasial sebaran batuan dilakukan dengan analisis overlay dan pemodelan Sediment Transport Index (STI). Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini mengumpulkan 56 sampel batuan. Area pemetaan batuan sepanjang pesisir pantai Kota Singkawang. Hasil penelitian menemukan di pantai Pasir Panjang terdapat jenis batuan, terdiri atas batuan metamorf (karang, sabak, pirofilit), beku (pasir, apung, skoria, latit), dan sedimen (gamping merah kapur, granit, batu belah). Analisis STI menunjukkan aktivitas sedimentasi dipengaruhi oleh dinamika formasi intrusi Sintang dan formasi Gunung Api Raya, yang berperan terhadap akumulasi mineral di kawasan pesisir. Keberagaman litologi ini memperkaya pemahaman mengenai evolusi geologi lokal serta menegaskan urgensi geokonservasi sebagai upaya strategis dalam pemanfaatan dan perlindungan geodiversitas untuk mendukung pariwisata berkelanjutan di Kota Singkawang.
