EKSPLORASI ETNOMATEMATIKA PADA JAJANAN TRADISIONAL KHAS SUKU MADURA DI DESA TELUK KAPUAS SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR MATEMATIKA

The aims of this research are, (1) Exploring ethnomathematics in traditional Madurese snacks in Teluk Kapuas Village, and (2) Compiling Student Worksheets as ethnomathematics-based teaching materials. The ethnomathematics exploration studied in typical Madurese snacks includes several concepts, namely the concept of spatial figures, the concept of rotation, the concept of folded symmetry, the concept of congruence, the concept of fractional numbers, the concept of comparison and algebra, as well as the concept of social arithmetic. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of ethnography. The data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation techniques. This research was conducted in Teluk Kapuas Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province from April to June 2024. First, the results showed that there were (1) the concept of space building in the form of snacks, (2) the concept of rotation of folding symmetry, congruence and fractions in the way of presentation, and (3) the concepts of comparison and algebra and the concept of social arithmetic in the way of marketing snacks. Second, the preparation of Learner Worksheets as teaching materials developed on the basis of ethnomathematics with social arithmetic material.
