PENGGUNAAN Media Visual (Infografis Tokoh) Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Teks Biografi Kelas X-3 SMAN 4 Pontianak

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks biografi siswa melalui penerapan media visual berupa infografis tokoh. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pada siswa kelas X-3 SMAN 4 Pontianak dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan infografis tokoh tidak hanya meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa, tetapi juga secara signifikan memperbaiki kemampuan menulis mereka dari segi struktur, koherensi, dan penggunaan bahasa. Rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 72,4 pada siklus pertama menjadi 84,1 pada siklus kedua, dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 100%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media visual dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dan kontekstual untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan keterampilan menulis siswa dalam genre biografi.
