Efektivitas Media Pembelajaran Dengan Virtual Lab Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas VII Pada Materi Suhu di SMP Negeri 07 Putussibau

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran Virtual Lab berbasis Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi suhu di SMP Negeri 07 Putussibau. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design, melibatkan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan Virtual Lab dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pretest dan posttest yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan awal siswa pada kedua kelas relatif rendah dengan nilai rata-rata pretest masing-masing 28,00 (kelas eksperimen) dan 27,74 (kelas kontrol). Setelah penerapan pembelajaran, nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen meningkat menjadi 73,33, sedangkan kelas kontrol mencapai 66,45. Analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann-Whitney U Test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Respon siswa terhadap penggunaan Virtual Lab juga sangat positif, karena media dianggap menarik, mudah digunakan, dan membantu memahami konsep suhu secara lebih mendalam. Dengan demikian, Virtual Lab berbasis LKPD terbukti efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa.
