Asesmen Diagnostik Kognitif dan Nonkognitif pada Pembelajaran Teks Deskripsi Siswa Kelas VIII

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan karakteristik kognitif dan non-kognitif murid kelas VIII pada pembelajaran teks deskripsi mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia sebagai dasar perencanaan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Asesmen diagnostik dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu tes kesiapan belajar sebagai aspek kognitif, serta angket minat dan angket gaya belajar sebagai aspek non-kognitif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi tes tertulis, pengisian angket, dan observasi perilaku belajar di kelas, dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa lembar soal tes diagnostik (pilihan ganda dan uraian) untuk mengukur kesiapan belajar, lembar angket berskala Likert untuk menjaring minat belajar, serta lembar angket dan pedoman observasi untuk memetakan gaya belajar peserta didik. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 murid kelas VIII. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil menunjukkan murid terbagi ke dalam tiga kelompok kesiapan belajar, yaitu mahir (30%), sedang (43,3%), dan berkembang (26,7%). Minat murid paling banyak mengarah pada topik tempat wisata alam (33,3%), sedangkan gaya belajar didominasi oleh gaya visual (40%) dan kinestetik (33,3%). Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya diferensiasi konten, proses, produk, dan lingkungan belajar, misalnya melalui model Station Rotation, agar pembelajaran teks deskripsi lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan individual murid.
