Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah persepsi kompetensi motorik memediasi hubungan antara kompetensi motorik dan aktivitas fisik untuk penyandang disabilitas tunanetra. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan convenience sample di BRSPDSN Kota Bandung. Jumlah sampel yang menyetujui 138 (81 Pria dan perempuan 57). Instrument yang digunakan ada tiga yaitu: TGMD-3, TPPC-VI, PAQ. Sampel dikelompokkan berdasarkan tingkat penglihatan berdasarkan Association for Blind Athletes (ABA) skala klasifikasi. Kompetensi motorik menunjukkan efek mediasi pada jalur dari keterampilan lokomotor ke aktivitas fisik. Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara keterampilan lokomotor dengan aktivitas fisik. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan bukti awal untuk mendukung hipotesis. Data ini memberikan dasar pemikiran untuk memasukkan kompetensi motorik dan aktual dalam strategi intervensi yang ditargetkan untuk meningkatkan perilaku aktivitas fisik bagi remaja penyandang tunanetra.
