EFEKTIVITAS PROJECT BASED LEARNING GUNA MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI SENI KERAJINAN MAHASISWA PGSD

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas project-based learning (PjBL) terhadap kompetensi seni kerajinan mahasiswa PGSD. Penelitian menggunakan mixed methods dengan desain explanatory sequential yang melibatkan 230 mahasiswa. Instrumen data kuantitatif adalah tes mengukur kognitif serta lembar penilaian kinerja untuk psikomotor dan kreativitas. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan uji t berpasangan, N-gain, serta rumus effect size. Data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi karya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada aspek kognitif, psikomotor, dan kreativitas mahasiswa dengan nilai p<0,5. Peningkatan kompetensi tersebut berada pada kategori sedang yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai N-gain sebesar 0,48–0,55. Selain itu, penerapan model PjBL juga terbukti memiliki efektivitas yang tinggi atau memberikan dampak yang kuat terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan nilai effect size sebesar 1,25–1,40. Mahasiswa menunjukkan persepsi positif terhadap pembelajaran, merasa termotivasi, percaya diri, serta menunjukkan meningkatnya kemampuan eksplorasi ide dan bahan kerajinan. PjBL juga mendorong kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan pengembangan soft skills.
