Abstract

Pada dasarnya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam mengembangkan nilai moral yang terkandung dalam materi demokrasi di kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kepulauan Kabupaten Bengkayang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode deskriptif analitis yang mana data yang diproleh seperti hasil pengamatan, hasil wawancara, dokumen. Suyek penelitian ini ayaitu siswa dan guru SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kepulauan Kabupaten Bengkayang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru baik dalam perencanaan maupun pelaksanaan pengajaran tentang pengembangan nilai moral pada siswa sudah baik dan terjadi perubahan perilaku siswa menjadi lebih baik dan beretika.
