Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Guided Inquiry Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa PPKn SMPN 19 Jambi

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Guided Inquiry terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain True Experimental dan rancangan Pretest-Posttest Only Control Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII terdiri dari 8 kelas dengan jumlah 280 siswa.Sampel diambil secara acak dari delapan kelas, dengan VIID sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIIF sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen sebesar 77% (kategori berpikir kritis), lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 54%. Uji hipotesis menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05), sehingga disimpulkan bahwa model Guided Inquiry berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn
